Looking for Healthy and Brightened Skin

Get rid of the dull and tired kin with a little bit of pampering, healthy diet and keeping your stress at Bay. You don’t have to spend thousands of rupees at a beauty salon or undergo skincare treatment. All you have to do is follow these five steps regularly to get the glowing and brightening skin.

1. Pamper Your Skin

Treat your skin gently with not too harsh products. Avoid strong soaps loaded with chemicals which will strip oil from your skin. Opt for mild and gentle cleansers. Apply shaving cream or lotion before you shave to keep it gentle.

Don’t take too hot showers. Take warm bath and limit your bath, as long showers can strip oil from your skin. Pat dry your skin with a towel and don’t rub to retain the needed moisture.

Use a moisturizer according to your skin type. A moisturizer with SPF may be beneficial.

2. Protect yourself from Skin

Sunscreen must be part of 365 days a year routine to protect your skin from the sun. Don’t wear it just when you are heading outside or heading to beaches. The Sun rays can still reach you even on a cloudy day. Apply a sunscreen with at least SPF 15 to block ultraviolet rays. Avoid sun between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m, and wear protective clothing when you are out in sun.

3. Quit Smoking

Want healthy and glowing skin? Then say no to smoking and booze. Smoking makes your skin look older as you age, since they damage collagen and elastin, and reduces the blood flow. Smoking makes your skin depleted of oxygen and nutrients which are essential for healthy skin. Quit smoking to get rid of the wrinkles

4. Balanced Diet

A diet rich in vitamin C, fiber foods and low in fatty and processed or refined carbs promotes healthy and younger looking skin. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins in your diet. Omega 3 fatty acids are beneficial to your skin while Vitamin C foods will keep your pimples at bay. Stay hydrated and drink plenty of fluids to flush out toxins quickly.

5. Beat the Stress

Your skin texture relies on external and internal factors, and too much of stress can trigger acne breakouts and other skin woes. Beat the stress with yoga, meditation, exercises which will not only keep you at peace, but ensures you to put away with work pressure or personal pressure at the right instance. Make sure you get your 8 hours of undisturbed sleep, to ease your brain to rest. These help you get the healthy and glowing skin.
